On March 19 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports organized a training class on doping prevention and control education to prepare for the X-2026 National Sports Games.
Vietnam Anti-Doping Center – VADA organizes a class, lasting until March 20.
According to regulations of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, athletes participating in this year's Games are required to participate in training, education, and anti-doping programs and must also have a prescribed test certificate.
The class organized in Hanoi this time has the participation of nearly 100 students who are coaches, athletes, managers representing units across the country as well as from national sports training centers.
Representatives of VADA said that officials of the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center will introduce and fully guide the contents related to doping prevention and control that have been regulated, including: Acts violating the Anti-Doping Law and consequences when exposed to banned substances; Updating the list of banned substances in 2026, drug lookup instructions; Procedures for taking doping test samples (urine, blood samples) and procedures for applying for Exemption due to treatment (TUE); Risk warnings from functional foods, introduction of online learning system (ADEL)...
VADA officials will implement a doping prevention and control education program for athletes participating in the 2026 National Marathon Championship to compete in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) on March 29.
The tournament has 2 events under the program of the X-2026 National Sports Games: men's marathon and women's marathon.
