The Vietnam Football Federation and the Chinese Football Federation agreed on a long-term cooperation plan.

On August 2, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan departed for China, preparing for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between VFF and the Chinese Football Association (CFA).

According to the plan, the official signing ceremony will take place tomorrow (August 4) at the CFA headquarters, with the participation of CFA President Song Kai, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and representatives of the leaders of the two federations.

According to the cooperation memorandum, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the following areas: human resource exchange, organization of friendly matches between men's, women's, youth and futsal teams; coordinate the organization of professional training courses and share experiences in professional football management.

In addition, VFF and CFA are also committed to promoting relations between V.League and Chinese Super League, as well as between futsal tournaments of the two countries.

This working trip is an important milestone in the process of strengthening development cooperation between Vietnamese football and Chinese football.

Previously, the Vietnam national teams had many notable activities in China such as U22 Vietnam participating in the 2024 and 2025 CFA Team China friendly tournaments, U16 Vietnam competing in the international tournament in Hohhot, the women's futsal team participating in the Asian finals and playing friendly matches with the Chinese women's futsal team, etc.

These activities clearly demonstrate the increasingly effective connection and cooperation between the two football regions, thereby helping Vietnamese teams prepare quality before participating in official tournaments.
