On the afternoon of May 28, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and Vietnam Television (VTV) signed a memorandum of understanding on communication cooperation for national teams and the sports tournament system in the period 2026-2030.
According to the signed content, the two sides will coordinate to promote communication about the activities of national teams, athletes, coaches as well as tournaments belonging to the national competition system.
Expected programs include sports bulletins, specialized reports, policy talks, documentaries and many contents on digital platforms.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong said: "With the strategy of developing Vietnamese sports to 2030, vision 2045, we must have breakthrough steps in both mass sports and high-performance sports.
Today's cooperation signing ceremony is an affirmation of the common vision and long-term orientation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Television.
We also direct the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports to closely coordinate in the coming time in developing new content to ensure depth, attractiveness and healthy aesthetic orientation for the public. We deeply believe that, with VTV's experience and prestige, this cooperation will create a historical milestone and bring national sports to new heights".

In the near future, national tournaments and activities of the Vietnamese team will be strengthened on television and online platforms. Many familiar sports promotion programs will also continue to be expanded, in addition to the plan to develop content for VTV's specialized sports channel.
On the side of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, this unit will support the provision of professional data, schedules, operating conditions as well as connecting coaches and athletes to participate in communication activities.
The cooperation between the Department of Physical Education and Sports and VTV is expected to create more momentum for sports promotion, helping teams and tournaments reach more fans in the 2026-2030 period.
