Vietnamese women's cycling team receives 3 training slots at world training camp in Korea

The coaching staff of the Vietnamese youth women's road cycling team has sent 3 athletes to participate in the World Training Camp held in Korea.

3 Vietnamese women's road cycling athletes who came to South Korea for training are Nguyen Thi Be Hong, Ha Ngoc Diep and Nguyen Khang Ha My.

The training program is within the framework of professional development implemented by the World Cycling Union - UCI with countries.

The program of the World Training Camp is being carried out at the training point in South Korea.

The Vietnamese youth women's road cycling team determined that the training session helped the 3 athletes accumulate and develop their expertise best.

Guiding cyclists in professional training is a UCI expert, Mr. Chester Hill.

Among the 3 young female cyclists training in Korea, there is 1 face who will participate in the 2026 Youth Olympics in October in Senegal.

The Vietnamese youth women's road cycling team was awarded 1 official spot to attend the Congress.

The coaching staff will send the best-performing cyclist to compete in the individual timekeeping event and start in groups. The 2026 Youth Olympics starts on October 31st.

This is the first time in history that Vietnamese cycling has a spot to participate in the World Youth Olympics.

Two years ago, Vietnamese cycling also made history when it had an official spot to compete in the long distance event at the 2024 Olympics in France. Cyclist Nguyen Thi That was the competitor at that time.
