After July 1, the change of the official athlete list of the sports delegations participating in ASIAD 20 was not approved.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, Vietnam Sports has developed a force plan to participate in ASIAD 20, and conducted a final review to officially register with the Congress Organizing Committee.
The ASIAD 20 program will officially take place from September 19 to October 4. However, according to each sport, the competition schedule will depend on the content.
In the official competition schedule issued by the ASIAD 20 Organizing Committee to the Olympic Committees of countries on June 16, the Opening Ceremony took place on September 19 and the Closing Ceremony on October 4.
Before the opening time, some sports have early competition content such as basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, cricket. Basketball will compete earliest at ASIAD 20, from September 10th.
The Organizing Committee of the Congress added 2 sports, teqball and padel, to the official program to increase the number to 43 (including 71 sub-sports).
The sports at ASIAD 20 include: Aquatics (swimming, diving, artistic swimming, handball), archery, athletics, badminton, soft 野球, basketball, boxing, breaking, canoeing/kayak, sparring martial arts (jujitsu, kurash, MMA), cycling (highway, canoe, mountain climbing, BMX), horse racing, esports, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics (gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, trampoline), hockey, kabaddi, karate, modern pentathlon, rowing, 7-a-side football, sailing, sepak takraw, shooting, skateboarding, mountain climbing sports, squash, surfing, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, teqball, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling and wushu.
ASIAD 20 is a Congress selling television rights for media and television units to own live signals of competition content when the Congress is held.
