Domestic coffee prices
Today (September 29), the domestic coffee market continues to increase. In the Central Highlands provinces, popular coffee prices range from 96,800 - 97,500 VND/kg. Of which, Dak Lak and Gia Lai purchased at 97,200 - 97,300 VND/kg, an increase of 800 VND/kg. Lam Dong purchased at the lowest price in all regions despite the same increase of VND 800/kg, currently listed at VND 96,800/kg.
Quickly recovered after a sharp decline in the closing session of the week, domestic coffee prices gradually regained their peak price from the end of April 2025, when domestic coffee had reached the mark of 99,000 - 99,500 VND/kg.
World coffee prices
The world market has the same upward trend as the domestic market. On the London Stock Exchange, robusta coffee futures for September increased by 130 USD, to 3,358 USD/ton. Other terms simultaneously turned to increase prices from 90 - 112 USD/ton.
Similarly, the price of arabica coffee on the New York exchange was covered by green. September term increased by 4.15%, reaching 301.70 cents/lb. The remaining terms increased by 4.20% to 4.35% cent/lb.
According to analysis from international organizations, the reason for the coffee market's continued escalation is the combination of many factors such as: harsh weather conditions, scarce supply, trade policies and high production costs. This situation is expected to continue in the coming time if the foundation factors do not improve.
In the domestic market, the severe heat from the beginning of the year has affected the growth of coffee trees and harvest productivity, leading to an un abundant supply, pushing up prices.
Note: Domestic coffee prices are for reference only, depending on the quality of goods and the purchase and sale agreement of each locality.
