In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today is flat and fluctuates between 54,000 - 56,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lai Chau and Son La have live pig prices at 54,000 VND/kg. Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Hung Yen have live pig prices at 56,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today decreased sharply by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg. In particular, Quang Ngai and Dak Lak have had live pig prices decreased by VND 2,000/kg, to VND 56,000/kg. Some other provinces decreased by VND 1,000/kg such as: Thanh Hoa, Quang Tri decreased to VND 54,000/kg, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa decreased to VND 57,000/kg and Lam Dong decreased to VND 58,000/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today also fluctuated strongly with a decrease of 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Thap had a decrease of VND 2,000/kg, down to VND 58,000/kg. Some provinces with live pig prices down 1,000 VND/kg are Ca Mau (up 59,000 VND/kg), Dong Nai, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City (up 58,000 VND/kg) and Vinh Long (up 57,000 VND/kg).
