In the Northern region, the price of live pigs ranges from 49,000 - 51,000 VND/kg. Some localities such as Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Hung Yen all decreased by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 50,000/kg. Also recording this decrease, prices in Lai Chau have dropped to 49,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Phu Tho and Son La still remain stable, fluctuating around 50,000 - 51,000 VND/kg.


In the Central - Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs is generally stable, only decreasing slightly in Lam Dong, down to 49,000 VND/kg. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An continue to hold the highest level in the region at 50,000 VND/kg, while Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai and Khanh Hoa fluctuate around 49,000 VND/kg. Gia Lai and Dak Lak are still at the lowest level in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.

In the South, the price of live pigs has decreased slightly in some places. Dong Nai and Can Tho both decreased by VND 1,000/kg (to VND 50,000/kg and VND 49,000/kg respectively). Tay Ninh - Ca Mau still maintains the highest level in the region (51,000 VND/kg) and Vinh Long still maintains the lowest level (48,000 VND/kg). Dong Thap, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City provinces have prices around 50,000 VND/kg.
