Assessments and forecasts
The world pepper market recorded a decline in some leading producing countries in today's trading session. Market prospects are supported by reduced sales from Vietnam as the harvest season gradually ends.
Low compensatory buying demand and the possibility of China increasing imports may support prices in the medium term. Meanwhile, geopolitical risks, rising oil prices and the risk of weather impacts continue to put pressure on global agricultural production.
