Domestic pepper prices: The first session of the week did not have many fluctuations
As of 7:15 p.m. today (September 21), the domestic pepper market was unexpectedly unstable after a series of price decreases. Currently, the price of pepper is recorded at 137,000 - 140,000 VND/kg.

Pepper prices in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City are moving sideways, anchored at 138,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, Dak Lak and Lam Dong province stood at 140,000 VND/kg. These are the 2 provinces listing the highest domestic pepper prices in the country.
World pepper prices: Extending the increase
In the world market, pepper prices maintained a high momentum in some regions. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets is no exception. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,216 - 10,058 USD/ton (equivalent to 190,070 VND/kg - 264,928 VND/kg), both of which are up 0.17%.
In the same direction, the Brazilian exchange increased the price by 0.86%, this region is currently at 5,800 USD/ton (about 152,772 VND/kg). Meanwhile, Malaysia's black and white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In Vietnam, the export price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, currently anchored at 6,440 - 6,570 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 9,150 USD/ton (equivalent to 241,011 VND/kg).
