Retail gasoline and oil prices today, June 5th, at the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) system are applied according to the new adjustment effective from 3:00 PM on June 4th of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.
According to the latest price list, E10 RON 95-V bio-gasoline is currently listed by Petrolimex at 23,230 VND/liter in region 1 (area near ports, wholesale warehouses) and 23,690 VND/liter in region 2 (area far from the supply center). Meanwhile, E10 RON 95-III gasoline is sold at 22,330 VND/liter in region 1 and 22,770 VND/liter in region 2.
For E5 RON 92-II gasoline, the current selling price is 21,780 VND/liter in region 1 and 22,210 VND/liter in region 2, continuing to be the gasoline item with the lowest price in the system.
In the oil group, 0.001S-V diesel oil is currently sold at 28,120 VND/liter in region 1 and 28,680 VND/liter in region 2. 0.05S-II diesel oil is listed at 26,860 VND/liter in region 1 and 27,390 VND/liter in region 2.
Kerosene 2-K currently costs 24,960 VND/liter in region 1 and 25,450 VND/liter in region 2. For the mazut group, mazut N02B (3.5S) is sold at 19,640 VND/kg in region 1 and 20,030 VND/kg in region 2, while mazut 180cst - 0.5S (RMG) is priced at 22,740 VND/kg in region 1 and 23,190 VND/kg in region 2.
According to Petrolimex, region 1 applies in areas near ports, wholesale warehouses and gasoline and oil production facilities, while region 2 is areas far from supply sources, so selling prices are higher due to additional transportation and distribution costs.
According to records, the domestic gasoline and oil price level has decreased significantly after the adjustment period on June 4, reflecting the downward trend of world oil prices in the recent price calculation cycle. The maintenance of E10 and E5 gasoline prices at a low level is also expected to promote biofuel consumption, contributing to the implementation of emission reduction and green energy transition goals.
