Multi-platform, multi-interaction propaganda
According to Mr. Thang, in all revolutionary periods, the working class has always been a pioneering force, built with the attention of the Party, State and Trade Union organization. In the context of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence are profoundly changing labor methods.
Capital Trade Union levels always determine: "To gather workers, you must get close to them; to propagate effectively, you must say correctly and persuasively what workers need, you must consider propaganda and education as a strategy to gain trust, maintain stable labor relations, and create a foundation for the sustainable development of the Capital and the country".
From that thinking, the Capital Trade Union has persistently innovated in the direction of: Taking workers as the center, taking the grassroots as the operating area, taking digital technology as a connecting tool, and taking practical efficiency as a measure.
Chairman of Hanoi Labor Federation said that the Capital Trade Union has strongly shifted from traditional propaganda to multi-platform, multi-interaction propaganda.
The Hanoi Trade Union General Electronic Information Page has become an official and practical information channel; trade union levels also manage tens of thousands of pages and groups of workers on social networks.
Many contests such as "Hanoi Trade Union - Journey of Construction and Development", "Capital Workers - Good Thoughts, Beautiful Actions", "Capital Trade Union Firmly Steps into a New Era", "Digital Trade Union, Digital Creativity" have contributed to spreading the spirit of patriotism, responsibility in work and pride in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Capital workers have firm bravery, proactively approach science, and digital transformation" - Mr. Thang said.
Building a digital worker forum to listen and forecast
Besides the achieved results, Mr. Thang frankly acknowledged that the propaganda work of the Capital's trade union levels is still difficult and limited.
He proposed 5 key solutions for the coming time. First of all, it is necessary to strongly innovate propaganda work in the direction of putting workers at the center.
Second, build a digital worker forum to listen, forecast, and early identify problems arising from workers' practices; thereby promptly advising Party committees and authorities, creating consensus among workers, civil servants, and laborers.
Third, proactively bring propaganda activities closer to workers, outside of working hours through models: Cultural activity points for workers, self-management groups for workers' boarding houses.
Fourth, focus on training skills in dialogue, grasping and orienting public opinion, applying information technology to handle situations in labor relations.
Fifth, closely link propaganda work with the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
I believe that the Trade Union organization will contribute to building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new era" - Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation emphasized.
