Da Nang launches Free Trade Zone at location No. 5
The People's Committee of Da Nang City will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the functional area at location No. 5 in the Da Nang Free Trade Zone (TMTD Area) on August 27.

A series of construction items will be organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang City such as: Starting the functional area at location No. 5 in the Da Nang Free Trade Zone (TMTD Area); starting the construction of cable car route No. 9 and the cluster of tower 1.2 multi-purpose entertainment and performance houses, belonging to the complex of the ecotourism area and urban area of Ba Na - Suoi Mo.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes to mandatory the use of E10 gasoline from 2026, E15 gasoline from 2031
In the Circular regulating the roadmap for applying the ratio of biofuel to traditional fuel in Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed that from January 1, 2026, all gasoline that is processed, combined, and sold for use by motor vehicles using gasoline engines nationwide is E10 gasoline.

From January 1, 2021, all gasoline will be combined, mixed, and traded for use by motor vehicles using gasoline engines nationwide, such as E15 gasoline or biofuel with other mixing ratios prescribed by the Minister of Industry and Trade based on the development status of motor vehicles; socio-economic development conditions; conditions for production and import of biofuel, biofuel and ensuring energy security. Before storm No. 5, more than 25 tons of watermelon were promptly rescued by Da Nang people
On August 25, before storm No. 5 Kajiki made landfall, the authorities and people of Hai Van ward joined hands to support farmers in Truong Dinh village to harvest, transport and consume dozens of tons of watermelon. This is a timely sharing, helping people reduce their worries when a difficult crop is at risk of falling behind.

Mr. Vo Van Thanh - Head of Truong Dinh village said that this year's full-season watermelon crop suffered a lot of damage due to heavy rain in June 2025. People have only had time to replant about 15 hectares, with the desire to recover some of their capital after years of being in the fields.
"However, as the big storm is about to hit, the fear of losing everything once again comes. At that time, the Hai Van ward government quickly took action, accompanying the people to find an outlet for agricultural products" - Mr. Thanh shared
According to Mr. Tran Quang Vu - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Hai Van Ward, the total output of watermelon that needs to be supported for consumption is up to more than 35 tons. See more...
