Yen recovers to increase after a period of sharp decline
According to Lao Dong, on October 28, the Japanese Yen (JPY) recovered, leading the increase in the region after major losses in recent sessions. The USD/JPY pair fell 0.3% compared to the previous session.

According to updated data as of October 28, 2025, only 13 banks have issued financial reports for the third quarter of 2025, but many units have impressive growth compared to the same period.

Vietnam's GDP growth forecast for the whole year of 2025 will increase by 7.9%
A new report released by HSBC has adjusted Vietnam's full-year growth forecast to become the fastest growing economy in ASEAN after the Statistics Office announced a 8.23% increase in GDP in the third quarter. According to HSBC, the above results are "surprisingly" because they are much higher than the market's expectation of 7.2%.

In response to GDP growth in the third quarter, HSBC raised its forecast for Vietnam's GDP growth in 2025 to 7.9% (up from the previous forecast of 6.6%) and 6.7% for 2026.
