National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed Resolution No. 10/NQ-HDBCQG on the establishment of a Subcommittee to ensure security, order and social safety.
The Resolution resolves to establish a Subcommittee to ensure security, order and social safety.
According to the resolution, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Member of the National Election Council - is the Head of the Subcommittee.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee - is Deputy Head of the Standing Subcommittee.
General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - is Deputy Head of the Subcommittee.
Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security - is Deputy Head of the Subcommittee.
In addition, there are 11 members including: Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Doan Anh Dung, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission; Mr. Dang Khanh Toan, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office;
Mr. Vu Chien Thang, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health; Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Deputy Inspector General of the Government; Mr. Trinh Manh Linh, Deputy Head of the Government Office; Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Duc, Deputy Head of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee;
Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Hung, Deputy Head of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office.
The Resolution also clearly states the duties and powers of the Subcommittee such as assisting the National Election Council in directing the work of ensuring security, order and social safety in the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Chairman of the National Election Council; members of the Subcommittee are allowed to use officials at their agencies to assist.
The subcommittee develops the Regulations on the operation of the Subcommittee; uses the seal of the National Election Council. The operating budget of the Subcommittee is included in the operating budget of the National Election Council.
The subcommittee ends its activities when the National Election Council ends its activities.
