Designer Cong Tri was born in 1978 in Da Nang, studied Industrial Fine Arts at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture.
Cong Tri started a business in the late 1990s. He used to work as a disc cover designer, behind a number of products such as the cover of the album Ta co ai ai by Phuong Thanh and Minh Thuan.
After the opportunity to meet designer Minh Hanh, Cong Tri is determined to step into the path of fashion design. In the early 2000s, he won a number of awards in the region. At this time, he is also considered one of the pioneers pursuing a high-end fashion career, building a fashion style for the star in Vietnam.
Designer Cong Tri was behind many gorgeous outfits of female artists such as: Ho Ngoc Ha, Thanh Hang, Thanh Lam, Le Quyen...
From 2014 to 2017, Cong Tri held many shows, introducing many domestic and regional collections, many of which were noticed such as: Lo hoa bat tu, Mau, Tay keo mong du, Sieu thoat... Every time he organized a show, he was supported by Vietnamese stars such as: Tran Thanh, Dam Vinh Hung, My Tam, Thanh Loc, Diem My 9X...
2017 marked an important milestone in Cong Tri's career when his designs were chosen by singers Rihanna and Katy Perry. From here, Cong Tri became famous and was favored by many Hollywood stars. Many "flements" and costumes made by him are made by international stars on the red carpets of large and small events.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported on July 23 that the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department and Tan Hoa Ward Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police discovered Tran Phu Long (born in 1989) and Nguyen Cong Tri (born in 1978, profession: fashion design - commonly known as Designer Nguyen Cong Tri) were involved and together illegally used drugs on the evening of June 23 at a private house in Tan Hung Ward.
Checking Tri and Long's residence, the Police Agency discovered many suspicious objects such as porcelain plates, coil bills, and plastic cards. At the police station, these subjects confessed that this was a tool for drug use.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Police are completing procedures and documents to handle according to the provisions of law.
