According to the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense, Colonel Mai Xuan Phong - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command - was appointed to the position of Commander of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command.
Lieutenant Colonel Dam Xuan Bach - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command - was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command.
At the conference, Colonel Tran Xuan Manh handed over to Colonel Mai Xuan Phong the duties and responsibilities of the Commander of the Provincial Military Command with the following contents: Organization and staffing of standing forces, reserve forces; armed forces, equipment, technical equipment; document systems of combat and military sectors; land management, defense works; training, exercises, competitions, sports; work in building militia forces, fostering knowledge of national defense and security and all aspects of party work, political work, logistics - engineering, finance.
In Cao Bang province, the Military Command of this province also just held a conference to hand over the duties and responsibilities of the Commander of the Military Command of Cao Bang province.
According to the decision of the Prime Minister, Colonel Dam Minh Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 1.
According to the decision of the Minister of National Defense, Colonel Van Khac Thanh - Principal of the Military Region Military School - was appointed to the position of Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command.
The conference approved the minutes of the handover of duties and responsibilities of the Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command to Colonel Van Khac Thanh.
