On April 3, the People's Council of Bac Giang province held its 26th session, including the dismissal and election of additional members of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Bac Giang province dismissed 5 members of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province for the 2021 - 2026 term due to retirement or job transfer.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Bac Giang province dismissed Mr. Tran Minh Chieu - former Director of the Department of Information and Communications and Mr. Tran Quang Tan - former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade due to retirement.
The People's Council of Bac Giang province also dismissed Mr. Ngo Bien Cuong - former Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Viet Phong - former Director of the Department of Construction, Ms. Bui Thi Thu Thu Thuy - former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment due to job transfer.
At the same time, the People's Council of Bac Giang province elected Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Director of the Bac Giang Provincial Police Department as an additional member of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Giang province Nguyen Thi Huong presented flowers to congratulate Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh.
Earlier, on 17.225, at the Police Department of Bac Giang Province, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel, the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the mobilization of Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh - Deputy Director, Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security, came to work and hold the position of Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police.
Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh has held many different positions and titles at the district-level, provincial-level police and the Ministry of Public Security.
Also last week, in Decision 3689-QD/VPTW dated March 27, 2025, the Chief of the Party Central Committee Office decided to appoint Colonel Nguyen Duc Huy - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, seconded official at the Party Central Committee Office as Secretary of General Secretary To Lam.
The decision takes effect from March 27, 2025.
The week also recorded the Ministry of Public Security's organization of collective award collection. Accordingly, the Ministry proposed to consider awarding the Second Class Military Exploit Order to Hai Phong City Police.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the above award consideration is based on Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government regulating general procedures for commendation proposal.
