On August 17, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, inspected the implementation of the Gia Binh International Airport project and the preparation of conditions to start the project.
The Gia Binh International Airport project and the route connecting Hanoi Capital have a scale of more than 1,964 hectares, invested according to 5-star standards, aiming to become one of the 10 most modern airports in the world.
The project is expected to create a strong driving force to promote the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province and neighboring areas, especially the capital region, while contributing to reducing the load on Noi Bai airport.
At the site of the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan listened to a report on the project implementation progress and preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony.
Relevant units presented a number of key contents such as completing technical infrastructure, overall planning of project areas, site clearance plans and resettlement plans for households, ensuring synchronous infrastructure and creating conditions for people to soon stabilize their lives.
Through on-site inspection, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requested relevant sectors, units and localities to urgently collect statistics on the current situation, thoroughly handle old infrastructure items, organize landscape cleaning, ensure a green - clean - beautiful environment, and at the same time best prepare conditions to serve the groundbreaking ceremony of the Gia Binh International Airport project.
On the same day, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province visited and presented gifts at Tu Ne Church, Tu Ne village, Luong Tai commune. Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his hope that all levels, sectors, local authorities, religious organizations and priests will continue to promote their role and prestige, mobilize the people to unite, agree and accompany the province in the project implementation process.
The consensus and support of the entire people will be the decisive factor for the project to be implemented smoothly, making an important contribution to the sustainable development of Bac Ninh in the future.
