On the afternoon of April 8, at the headquarters of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, a Conference was held to implement the Decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on personnel work.
Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi chaired the Conference.
At the Conference, representatives of the Central Organization Committee announced the Secretariat's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, former Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, former Chairman of the City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, Deputy Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
Next, the Conference announced the Politburo's decision on assigning and appointing Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, an agency under the Government, to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, which is a non-business unit of the Party Central Committee; concurrently holding the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
The Conference announced the Politburo's decision on assigning and appointing Mr. Le Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, a government agency, to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences as a non-business unit of the Party Central Committee; concurrently holding the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

Speaking at the Conference, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated the individuals appointed as Deputy Heads of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
The appointment of individuals by the Politburo and the Secretariat as leaders of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee will help the leadership apparatus of the Committee to be consolidated, improve leadership and direction capacity, and contribute to the good implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.
Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi wished that the new Deputy Heads would best promote their strengths and professional experience, unite and unify with the leadership collective of the Committee to focus on effectively implementing the development of projects to submit to the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo in 2026 and throughout the term, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the XIV Congress and resolutions, guidelines and policies of the Party, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.
In particular, effectively implement the new operating model according to the Politburo's decision on functions and tasks, organizational structure of the two Academies, effectively linking the operational efficiency of the two Academies with the research and strategic advisory work of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
Speaking to receive the assignment, personnel expressed their honor to be transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee. The appointed individuals expressed that they will always try their best, be ready to perform assigned tasks, and promote their strengths and experiences in work.
