At the First Session of the 8th Quang Tri Provincial People's Council held on the morning of July 1, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, gave an important speech, orienting the development journey of the locality after the merger.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the merger of the two provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri is a strategic decision that demonstrates the comprehensive vision of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government.
This is not only an administrative event, but also a great opportunity to restructure the development model, mobilize resources, reform the apparatus, improve governance efficiency and build the image of a new Quang Tri with a strong stature and aspiration.
The Provincial Party Secretary congratulated the comrades who have just been entrusted with important responsibilities in the Provincial People's Council apparatus, and affirmed that such trust is a great responsibility for the elected body to fulfill its role well.
He requested the Provincial People's Council to urgently put the two-level government apparatus into smooth, effective and efficient operation; innovate governance methods, promote administrative reform, strongly decentralize and increase the satisfaction of people and businesses.
In his speech, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang clearly stated 6 key groups of tasks, including: urgently putting the two-level government apparatus into smooth, effective and efficient operation; promoting administrative reform, digital government; promoting collective intelligence and effectively exploiting potential; enhancing the quality of supervision; maintaining solidarity and consensus; preparing well documents and personnel for the Provincial Party Congress for the next term. He affirmed that the new Quang Tri must become a model of organizational reform, developing quickly and sustainably in the whole country.
The Provincial Party Secretary called on each cadre, civil servant, party member, and delegate of the People's Council to promote the pioneering spirit, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, take solidarity as a fulcrum, take the people as the center and take aspirations as motivation to jointly realize strategic vision, build Quang Tri into a land of intellectual convergence, spread values and connect the future.
