On the afternoon of February 20, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province organized the announcement of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province and decisions on the transfer, assignment and appointment of cadres of the Provincial People's Committee for directors and deputy directors of newly established departments. All decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.
Establish the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction. Mr. Le Ngoc Tien (Director of the Department of Planning and Investment before the arrangement) was the Director of the Department of Construction and the Deputy Directors of this department including: Tran Duc Minh, Nguyen Duc Toan, Bui Truong Son, Huynh Ngoc Thanh, Nguyen Duc Minh Tien, Nguyen Thanh Long.
Establish the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology. Mr. Vo Thanh Cong (Director of the Department of Information and Communications before the arrangement) became Director of the Department of Science and Technology. The Deputy Directors of this department include: Huynh Thanh Quang, Tran Thanh Duy, Mai Thanh Nga, Nguyen Hoai Trung.
Establish the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Mr. Do Van Chung is the Director of the Department of Home Affairs and the Deputy Directors of this department include: Nguyen Thi Bong, Tran Huu Tuan, Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Tran Thi Thanh Nhan.
Establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Mr. Cao Son Dung (Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment before the arrangement) became Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment. The Deputy Directors of this department include: Tran Huu Minh Tung, Huynh Duy Khoi, Nguyen Van Chien, Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Phan Van Tan, Le Thanh Son
Establish the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance. Mr. Phan The Hanh holds the position of Director of the Department of Finance and the Deputy Directors include: Vo Duc Tuan, Mai Van Hieu, Nguyen Van Hoa, Nguyen Van Dung, Bui Thi Hong Thuy.
Establish the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of reorganizing the Ethnic Minorities Committee and receiving the functions, tasks and organization of the state management advisory apparatus on beliefs and religions from the Department of Home Affairs. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan is the Director and Deputy Directors include: Ho Thi Kim Le, Thanh Thi Minh Hien, Tran Ngoc Tan.
In addition, at the conference, the decision to transfer Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien, Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs before being arranged to work and hold the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training was announced.
Transfer Mr. Nguyen Le Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Thuan province before being arranged to work and hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loc, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs before being transferred to work and holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health.
At the 31st session (special session) held on the same morning, the 11th term People's Council of Binh Thuan province unanimously approved the Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. After establishment and reorganization, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has 13 agencies, reducing 5 agencies.
