Ministry of Public Security inspects Son La Provincial People's Committee

The Ministry of Public Security has just announced a decision to inspect compliance with legal regulations on entry, exit, and counter-terrorism in Son La.

On November 11, the Inspection Delegation of the Ministry of Public Security announced its decision to inspect the compliance with legal regulations on entry, exit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam; exit and entry of Vietnamese citizens; terrorism prevention and control; and protection of important national security works and targets for the People's Committee of Son La province.

The conference announced the decision of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security for the People's Committee of Son La province and its affiliated agencies and units including the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Police and the departments of: Foreign Affairs; Transport; Education and Training; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Finance; Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committee of Son La city, the People's Committees of Moc Chau, Yen Chau, Phu Yen districts and the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns under the People's Committees at the district level to be inspected, important target projects, agencies and organizations inviting and sponsoring foreigners to work in the locality and accommodation facilities with foreigners staying.

Inspection period is 45 days, starting from November 11, 2024; inspection scope is from January 1, 2021 to the time of inspection.

Major General Nguyen Xuan Hong (Head of the delegation), Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security, requested that the inspected agencies and units prepare well the records, documents, and reports according to the outline, to achieve effective inspection according to plan.

The inspection contents include: compliance with legal regulations on entry, exit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam; exit and entry of Vietnamese citizens; anti-terrorism; protection of important works related to national security; protection of important political, economic, diplomatic, scientific - technical, cultural and social targets guarded and protected by the People's Police force with armed responsibility.
