The ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint Dr. Diep Bao Tuan as Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital took place on the afternoon of November 22, at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital.
Speaking at the direction and assignment, Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong - Director of the Department of Health congratulated Dr. Diep Bao Tuan for receiving the trust and high appreciation of the hospital's staff, workers as well as leaders at all levels.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong asked Dr. Diep Bao Tuan to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, together with the staff, civil servants and employees of the hospital to promote the spirit of solidarity, strive to complete the assigned tasks well, worthy of being the final cancer hospital of the Southern region.
Dr. Diep Bao Tuan (born in 1966) has held many different positions and tasks at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital (Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Head of the General Planning Department, Head of the Satellite Oncology Department, Deputy Director of the Hospital).
On April 23, 2024, Dr. Diep Bao Tuan was assigned by the Department of Health to be in charge of managing, operating activities, performing financial transactions and duties of the Director of the Oncology Hospital under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, replacing Dr. Pham Xuan Dung - Director of the Hospital who is on leave.
