On February 17, the Central Policy and Strategy Committee held a conference to implement decisions on personnel work.
The conference announced the decisions of the Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Department on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the departments and units under his management, including: General Economic Department; Department of Industry and Trade Economics; Department of Social Affairs; Department of Regional and Local Economics; Department of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation; Office of the Central Policy and Strategy Department.
At the same time, the operation of the Center for Economic Analysis and Forecasting with the Southern Office will be terminated, and the functions and tasks will be transferred to the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Office.
At the conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Tran Luu Quang and Deputy Heads of the Committee presented the decisions of the leaders of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee on the appointment of personnel to lead departments, units and department-level leaders of the Committee Office after the organizational arrangement according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Tran Luu Quang congratulated the leaders at the department and department levels who have just received appointment decisions.
Mr. Tran Luu Quang hopes that leaders, civil servants, public employees and workers of departments and units under the Board will try and make more efforts; have new approaches to work and working methods to achieve more positive results.
Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Tran Luu Quang said that the Committee's leaders will create favorable conditions for the Committee's staff in their work, always listening to comments to find solutions for the agency to operate more effectively and complete assigned tasks well.
