On March 19, Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics (TCCT) of the Vietnam People's Army (QĐND) chaired a working conference with agencies and units on administrative procedure reform (TTHC).
At the conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the results of implementing administrative procedure reform. In general, the functional agencies of the General Department of Politics have thoroughly grasped and implemented the plans and directions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics on administrative procedure reform.
Through this, proactively review proposals for restructuring, reducing, and simplifying administrative procedures in the process of amending and supplementing legal normative documents, especially the Department of Social Policy and the Department of Personnel. However, there are still some obstacles and limitations that need to be urgently overcome in the coming time.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung emphasized that in the past time, along with promoting the development and supplementation of legal normative documents, agencies have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the plans and directions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics on administrative procedure reform, proactively reviewed restructuring and simplified administrative procedures in the process of amending and supplementing legal normative documents.
Regarding tasks in the coming time, Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung requested agencies implementing tasks to thoroughly grasp the direction of the Central Government and General Secretary To Lam, which is: Say less, do more, do it to the end so that everything has specific results, after each meeting, the meeting has clear and substantive changes.
Regarding administrative procedure reform, agencies review and re-evaluate the entire content. Administrative procedures under the State's scope must be done drastically, urgently, and responsibly. Contents that do not have sufficient legal basis, closely follow agencies to draft and implement.
Abolished administrative procedures need to closely coordinate with agencies to follow the correct procedures and regulations, ensuring strictness. For internal administrative procedures, relevant agencies should carefully review and link them to digital transformation.
