The Government has just issued Decree 67/2025/ND-CP dated March 15, 2025 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 178/2024/ND-CP on policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing organizational restructuring.
In addition to expanding the scope of regulation and policy beneficiaries, Decree 67 clearly states amendments and supplements to policies and regimes for subjects belonging to the armed forces.
Subjects specified in Point a, Point d, Point d, Point e, Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 2 of this Decree belonging to armed forces who are subject to policies specified in Articles 7, 7a, 7b, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 14 of this Decree.
Accordingly, the subjects specified in the above points in Article 2 of Decree 178/2024 include:
Cadres, civil servants, public employees in leadership, management and civil servants, public employees;
Officers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials of the Vietnam People's Army;
Officers, non-commissioned officers receiving salaries, police workers and contract workers receiving salaries from the state budget under the People's Public Security;
People working in key organizations.
The above subjects will enjoy the policies specified in Articles 7, 7a, 7b, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 14 of Decree 178/2024 including:
Policy for early retirees;
Policy for cadres whose working time is extended;
The policy on resignation for cadres and civil servants is stipulated in Point a and Point b, Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree;
The policy on resignation for civil servants and employees is stipulated in Point a and Point c, Clause 1, Article 2 of this Decree;
Policy for cadres, civil servants, and public employees who lead or manage but cease to hold leadership or management positions or are elected or appointed to lower leadership or management positions due to organizational restructuring;
Training and fostering policies to improve the qualifications of cadres, civil servants and public employees after the reorganization.
Decree 67/2025 of the Government officially takes effect from March 15.
