On the afternoon of July 11, in Hanoi, the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security organized the Ceremony to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026) and the Inauguration of the Immigration Command, Operation, and Combat Center.
At the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security - and unit leaders performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Immigration Command, Operation, and Combat Center project.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham Dang Khoa - Director of the Immigration Department - emphasized: If the 80-year tradition is the spiritual foundation, the bravery, and the source of strength of the People's Security Forces, then the Immigration Command, Operation, and Combat Center is an important material, technical, technological and organizational condition for the Immigration Management force to innovate leadership, command, operation, and combat methods; better serve the requirements of protecting national security and serving the people in the new situation.
Praising the achievements and results of the Immigration Management force in the past time, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that, in the new period, the Immigration Management Department strongly apply science and technology in Immigration management.
Focus highly on researching and proposing comprehensive solutions, effectively applying science and technology, using large databases, and applying artificial intelligence in all aspects of immigration management.
The Minister requested the Immigration Department to proactively propose solutions to optimize the operation of the Immigration Command, Operation, and Combat Center. Improve all aspects of ensuring security and order at international border gates, absolutely ensure aviation security, and prevent even the smallest mistakes.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Immigration Management force must be built as a standard force of the People's Police in the spirit of the Three Firsts "Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People".
The Minister also requested to focus on building an immigration management force with firm political bravery, pure moral qualities, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, proficient in foreign languages, proficient in law, and capable of leading and spreading the spirit of action to implement the Party's guidelines.
Each officer and soldier is typical individuals in terms of digital capacity, creative thinking, lifelong learning ability, ability to adapt quickly to change, and ability to cooperate in a global environment.
