On behalf of the armed forces of Yen Bai province, Colonel Tran Cong Ung - Commander of the Yen Bai Provincial Military Command reported: In 2024, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the comprehensive implementation of military and defense tasks and complete the set targets and tasks, contributing to building an all-people national defense, building a people's war posture, and building an increasingly solid defense zone.
Yen Bai province's armed forces also organized well the movements "Army joins hands to build new countryside", the campaign "All people unite to build new countryside, civilized urban areas", built and handed over "Comrades' House", "Great Unity House", "House of Gratitude".
Speaking at the meeting, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved by officers, soldiers and armed forces of Yen Bai province in the past time as well as the preparation work to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025.
General Phan Van Giang requested that commanders of agencies and units strengthen education work and raise awareness among officers and soldiers about the task of being ready for combat.
