Speaking at the meeting, Deputy General Inspector of the Government Nguyen Van Cuong said that the functional units of the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have coordinated to perform well the handover of the functions and tasks of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Inspectorate as prescribed.
Accordingly, the Government Inspectorate receives existing civil servants; receives the administrative inspection plan program according to the 2025 Inspection Plan approved by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism up to now; receives financial issues, assets and equipment related to the staff and civil servants of the Ministry Inspectorate transferred to the Government Inspectorate.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy said that the Ministry had met and agreed based on the wishes of each civil servant and sent the list to the Government Inspectorate; in cases where there were no wishes to the Government Inspectorate, the Ministry had a plan to arrange.
Regarding assets and finances, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Office to review and implement. For the inspections and checks being conducted, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy requested the Ministry Inspectorate to complete them before handing them over to the Government Inspectorate.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Nguyen Van Cuong agreed and highly agreed with the opinions of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong emphasized that the Government Inspectorate will create maximum conditions and pay attention to cases of cadres transferred to the Government Inspectorate, especially the regime and policies for cadres.
The Deputy Inspector General of the Government directed relevant units to complete the dossier and documents to complete the handover before May 31. Regarding personnel work, the handover must be completed before May 15. For administrative inspections being conducted, they must be completed before May 31.
