On March 20, Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong - Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense - chaired a draw for a random selection conference for people with the obligation to declare assets and annual income with a position allowance coefficient of 0.8, for the Military Technical Academy; 108 Central Military Hospital; Information and Communications Corps.

Accordingly, implementing the Law on Anti-Corruption, Decree No. 130/2020/ND-CP dated October 30, 2020 of the Government on controlling assets and income of people holding positions and powers in agencies, organizations, and units, Decision No. 56-QD/TW dated February 8, 2022 of the Politburo promulgating the Regulation on coordination between agencies controlling assets and income, in recent years, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense has advised the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to lead and direct agencies and units in the Ministry of National Defense to effectively implement the work of controlling assets and income.

Since 2022, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense has advised the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to direct agencies and units to verify 3,253 personnel with declaration obligations, of which the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense verified 204 personnel belonging to 16 agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense.

Implementing Decision No. 61/QD-BQP dated January 7, 2025 of the Minister of National Defense approving the 2025 Property and Income Verification Plan for People with positions and powers under the Ministry of National Defense, in 2025, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense advised the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to verify assets and income of 150 personnel with annual declaration obligations, with a position allowance coefficient of 0.8.

In this round, a draw conference was held to randomly select 58 personnel who are required to declare assets and income annually with a position allowance coefficient of 0.8 from the Military Technical Academy; the 108 Central Military Hospital; the Information and Communications Corps to verify assets and income.

As a result, the number of people randomly selected by drawing lots was 58/268 personnel whose assets and incomes were verified (the Military Technical Academy had 25/143 personnel; the 108 Central Military Hospital had 18/82 personnel; the Information and Communications Corps had 15/42 personnel).

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong - Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense - praised the units for successfully coordinating the conference.

The Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense requested units to quickly develop a coordination plan to conduct the verification as soon as possible, ensuring quality, objectivity, honesty, and compliance with principles.

Lieutenant General Le Dinh Thuong also requested agencies and units with verified assets and income to do a good job of preparing documents and records, developing reports on the results of implementing the organization and implementation of Party documents, State laws, regulations of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on asset and income control.
