Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1656/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ca Mau province in 2025.
After the arrangement, Ca Mau province has 64 commune-level administrative units, including 55 communes and 9 wards; of which 54 communes and 9 wards formed after the arrangement prescribed in this Article and 1 commune that does not implement the arrangement is Ho Thi Ky commune.
55 communes include: Tan Thuan, Tan Tien, Ta An Khuong, Tran Phan, Thanh Tung, Dam Doi, Quach Pham, U Minh, Nguyen Dai, Khanh Lam, Khanh An, Phan Ngoc Hien, Dat Mui, Tan An, Khanh Binh, Da Bac, Khanh Hung, Song Doc, Tran Van Thoi, Thoi Binh, Tri Den, Tan Loc, Bien Bach, New Dat, Tam Can, Tam Giang, Cai Doan, Phu Tan, Phu Tan, Phu Tan, Phu Tan, Phu Tan Thanh, Hong Dan, Vinh Loc, Ninh Thanh Loi, Ninh Quoi, Ganh Hao, Dinh Thanh, An Trach, Long Dien, Dong Hai, Hoa Binh, Vinh My, Vinh Hau, Phuoc Long, Vinh Phuoc, Phong Hiep, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Loi, Hung Hoi, Chau Thoi, Ho Thi Ky.
9 wards include: Bac Lieu, Vinh Trach, Hiep Thanh, Gia Rai, Lang Tron, An Xuyen, Ly Van Lam, Tan Thanh ward, Hoa Thanh.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval (June 16).
The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement prescribed in Article 1 of this Resolution officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
