At the session, the People's Council of Cao Bang province dismissed Mr. Trinh Sy Tai, former Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office (shifted to work) and Ms. Dong Thi Kieu Oanh, former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade (retired).
Next, the delegates elected three additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, including Mr. Duong Hung Dung - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Mr. Pham Xuan Tung - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade. All three were elected with high confidence votes.
The meeting also reviewed, gave opinions and passed nine important resolutions, including a list of projects and works requiring land acquisition in 2025.
Adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and the public investment plan for 2025; allocate and supplement capital to implement national target programs.
Notably, the session applied the "no paper" form, contributing to saving on the cost of printing documents and documentary publications.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province Be Thanh Tinh affirmed that with the spirit of innovation, closely following reality and responsibility, the Provincial People's Council has promptly concretized the policies of the Provincial Party Committee, issued a resolution to closely follow reality and feasibility, creating a legal corridor for the People's Committee of Cao Bang province to carry out the task of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.
He suggested that the Provincial People's Committee and agencies, units and localities urgently develop plans, put the resolution into practice, promote efficiency in socio-economic development and maintain security and defense in the locality.
