On August 7, the Nguyen Binh Commune Party Committee held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. The congress was attended by delegates: General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA).
On the side of the provincial leaders, there were comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and leaders of departments and branches of the province.
In the 2020-2025 term, the Commune Party Committee has achieved many outstanding results: average income per capita reached nearly 30 million VND/year, exceeding the set target by more than 117%; food output reached more than 4,400 tons; newly planted nearly 87 hectares of cinnamon trees; had 3 OCOP products meeting 3-star standards; established 5 cooperatives with a total capital of 30.5 billion VND; 100% of the hamlets had convenient roads and cars.
In society, the poverty rate decreased by 12.69%; almost all temporary houses were eliminated; Party development work was focused on with 128 newly admitted Party members.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Commune Party Committee has determined the goal of raising average income to 63 million VND/person/year; reducing the multidimensional poverty rate by over 3% per year; the value of agricultural - forestry - fishery production reaches 45 million VND/ha; 100% of schools implement local education programs; communes achieve a happiness index of 90 points or more and meet new rural standards.
In addition, the commune also aims to develop at least 2 boarding or boarding schools, reducing at least 2 existing schools.
Speaking at the Congress, General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that the locality needs to concretize the goal into a clear action program, while maintaining political stability, promoting the role of cadres, party members and people in sustainable socio-economic development.
He also emphasized the effective use of capital sources, promoting digital transformation, promoting agricultural products, developing the forest economy, improving the quality of education - healthcare and comprehensively developing culture - society.
The Congress passed a decision to appoint 28 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and sent 6 delegates to the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
On the same day, in the administrative center of Nguyen Binh commune, General Trinh Van Quyet and the Central working delegation, leaders of Military Region 1, leaders of Cao Bang province visited, encouraged, and presented 50 gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the commune.
