At the session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Chief Inspector of Lao Cai province, was unanimously elected by 49/49 delegates to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021 - 2026, according to the proposal of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The delegates also unanimously elected Mr. Tran Minh Sang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment as a member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021 - 2026.
Previously, the session dismissed Ms. Giang Thi Dung from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021 - 2026 term due to her assignment, transfer and appointment by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai City Party Committee.
Remove members of the Provincial People's Committee for Mr. and Mrs. Ngo Duc Anh - former Director of the Department of Finance; Do Van Duy - former Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Bui Khac Hien - former Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Ha Van Thang - former Director of the Department of Tourism due to receiving early retirement (voluntary retirement).
Remove Ms. Dinh Minh Ha - former Director of the Department of Culture and Sports and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - former Director of the Department of Transport from the Provincial People's Committee Committee for being transferred to introduce as Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union and Chairman of Lao Cai City People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh was born in 1972, hometown in Me Linh district, Vinh Phuc (now Hanoi). Before taking on the position of Chief Inspector of Lao Cai province, Mr. Sinh was Deputy Director; Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao Cai province.
In 2019, Mr. Sinh was transferred and appointed by Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of Van Ban District Party Committee.
In 2022, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh was appointed to the position of Chief Inspector of Lao Cai province.
