Da Nang City has a total of 94 administrative units at the commune and ward levels (23 wards, 70 communes and 1 Hoang Sa special zone).
Each unit has: The Party Executive Committee consists of 2031 members. The Standing Committee consists of 711 members, one Party Secretary is officially appointed.
In particular, the City Party Committee appoints key officials as City Party Committee members or officials with experience from two old localities to ensure inheritance and stability when operating the new apparatus.

Secretary of the Special Zone Party Cell: Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City concurrently holds the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of the Special Zone.
The city also aims to standardize the entire database system, boundary maps, and human resource planning at the grassroots level according to the new consolidation model by the end of 2025.
