Traditional culture of 54 ethnic groups is a valuable resource
This morning (February 15), at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the "Spring in All regions of the Fatherland" Festival of the Spring of At Ty 2025, to introduce the unique cultural features and customs of 54 ethnic groups across the Fatherland, according to VNA.
Speaking at the Festival, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong expressed his pleasure at attending the "Spring Colors in Every Land" Festival in the Spring of At Ty 2025 - an annual event held to contribute to the convergence and connection of ethnic groups, preserving, promoting and spreading the traditional and unique cultural values of ethnic groups in the extended family of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

The President emphasized that one of the most important values of the traditional culture of the 54 ethnic groups is the spirit of great solidarity and mutual love, which has created endogenous strength, and is the foundation for helping the Vietnamese people overcome all difficulties and challenges throughout the history of building the country, defending the country, fighting for national liberation in the past, as well as in the cause of building and developing the country and firmly defending the Fatherland of Vietnam today.
Affirming that the "Spring Festival in all regions of the Fatherland" is not only an event to celebrate Spring, but also a meaningful cultural and political activity, President Luong Cuong said that this is an opportunity for every Vietnamese person to review, preserve and deepen national cultural values, thereby further strengthening solidarity, enhancing understanding and accompanying each other in the process of building and developing the country.
The President emphasized that the traditional culture of 54 ethnic groups is an invaluable asset, an extremely valuable resource for us to build a strong Vietnam.
Thanks to the diversity and richness of the culture, along with the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, we have, are and will overcome all difficulties and challenges to reach great achievements in the cause of national development and firmly defending the Fatherland of Vietnam.
Forging the great national unity bloc
In the joyful atmosphere of the first day of Spring, the President hopes that all compatriots, comrades, officers and soldiers of the armed forces will use all their efforts, enthusiasm, and through specific and practical actions contribute to the common cause of the country, create solidarity, foster the great national unity bloc, contribute to fostering Vietnamese culture, Vietnamese strength, Vietnamese values - a strong endogenous resource for national development.

On this occasion, the President presented gifts to representatives of ethnic minorities attending the "Spring Colors in All regions of the Fatherland" Festival.
Next, the President attended the Tower Opening Ceremony and offered incense at the tower temple of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan province.
After the end of the Tower Opening Ceremony, outside the festival yard are traditional dances associated with the Cham people's tower temple in harmony with the sound of the Ginang drum, Paranung drum, and Saranai flute.

Visiting the Muong Ethnic Village, the President attended the Muong Ethnic Exposure Festival. This is a traditional festival associated with the agricultural production of rice in water, bearing many traces of the ancient Vietnamese civilization; an indispensable cultural and religious activity of the Muong people in Hoa Binh every Spring.
In 2022, the Muong Ethnic Exposure Festival in Hoa Binh province was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
After that, the President played the drums of Khai Ha and performed the first plow opening ceremony in the Festival to go to the fields to open a new production season, starting a year of favorable weather and bumper crops.
The President and delegates also planted a souvenir tree and sang together in the " Muong Spring Festival" in the sound of the colorful gongs and pentatonic music.
