President Luong Cuong's attendance at this event affirms Vietnam's responsibility for world peace, security and development.
26 heads of state and heads of government of countries attended the ceremony.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Tap Can Binh gave an important speech as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China.
President Xi Jinping sent his condolences to international heads of state and heads of governments of countries attending this event and affirmed that this is an opportunity to commemorate history, respect peace and show gratitude to veterans.
Mr. Tap Can Binh affirmed that the Chinese people have made great contributions to the cause of protecting human civilization and world peace, through great sacrifices in the war. He said that the resistance war against Japan is not only a part of China's history but also an important part of the global war against apartheid.

In his speech, the Chinese president also called on countries around the world to eliminate the root cause of war and prevent repeated historical tragedies. According to him, common security can only be guaranteed when countries treat each other equally, live in harmony and support each other.
Affirming his foreign stance, Mr. Xi Jinping said that China will continue its path of peaceful development. He emphasized that humanity is currently facing the choice between peace and war, dialogue or confrontation. China, he said, will steadfastly stand on the side of peace and progress and work with other countries to build a community of sharing the future.
The Chinese president also emphasized that the national recovery process is unstoppable, and expressed the belief that the cause of peace and development of humanity will eventually win. He called on the people of all ethnic groups in China to unite and make efforts under the leadership of the Communist Party of China to build a powerful country and promote modernization with Chinese identity.
The parade lasted about 70 minutes with the participation of 45 formedations; mobilizing more than 12,000 soldiers and hundreds of domestically produced equipment.



The equipment formations are organized into combat groups based on actual combat situations, including ground, sea, air and missile defense combat, information warfare, unmanned combat, logistics support and strategic attacks.
The air formations, organized in modular formations and with systems, including early warning and advanced command aircraft, fighter jets, bombers, transport aircraft, etc., gather most of the main fighter jets currently operating in the payroll of the People's Liberation Army of China.
