President Luong Cuong's visit is an important foreign policy event of special significance, demonstrating his commitment to creating a breakthrough, elevating relations, strengthening political trust and further deepening traditional friendship, thereby creating momentum, opening a new phase of cooperation, especially in economics and trade between Vietnam and Egypt and Angola as well as other African countries.
Egypt and Angola are countries with important roles and positions, and are the leading economies in the African region. Egypt has a very important geopolitical position, is one of the most influential countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Arab world, and is the headquarters of the Arab League.
Angola is currently the President of the African Union of 54 member states, a key force at the United Nations and multilateral forums.
This visit of the President not only affirms the close relationship, the iron and equal relationship was formed and fostered during the period of national liberation struggle, but also an opportunity for Vietnam and the two countries of Egypt and Angola to exchange directions and measures to bring the relationship to a new height in a more substantial, effective and sustainable direction, meeting the needs of development and international integration in the new situation of each country.
