On the morning of May 15, at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers held the 10th National Honoring Ceremony for Uncle Ho's Good Children - 2025.
This is the most important activity within the framework of the Tenth National Congress of Uncle Ho to commend the achievements of the excellent Uncle Ho's good children in the period of 2020-2025 in implementing the movement "Vietnamese children emulate 5 things Uncle Ho taught".
Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, President Luong Cuong pointed out that during his lifetime, beloved Uncle Ho always had a special love for children and teenagers.
Uncle Ho's love for children is a deep and wide affection, that is the trust, pride, and hope that they will become the next generation to follow the excellent careers of their ancestors, who will continue to write a glorious future and protect and maintain the longevity of the Vietnamese nation.
The President affirmed that the 500 children attending this Congress are excellent, outstanding, and typical faces; a source of pride, hope, and a bright future for the nation.
Emphasizing that each person has only one time in their youth and teenage years, the President stated that children should keep dreaming but must have the will to be determined to rise up and study hard and practice to realize their dreams.
The children's belongings are knowledge, love for the Fatherland, love for the people, the desire to contribute and the confidence to enter a new era - the era of strong and prosperous development of the Vietnamese people.
Assessing the achievements and honors that the children have achieved in the past time as just a very proud and appreciated start in the long life journey of each child, the President hopes that the children will be humble, constantly strive to study, practice, be creative, to develop comprehensively, no matter how each child's circumstances are different, they can all rise up with diligence, passion, continuous efforts, determination to overcome difficulties and always have the desire to rise up.
Along with that, the President said that in addition to studying well, children need to pay attention to physical exercise, diligently practicing physical exercise, sports and learning necessary life skills.
During his lifetime, beloved Uncle Ho wrote two verses "Children are like buds on the branch - know how to eat and sleep, know how to study and be good", which is a reminder to all parents, teachers, to Party committees, authorities at all levels, departments, ministries, branches, and organizations from the central to the grassroots level to always pay more attention, care for, and invest more in the work of protecting and educating children, creating a healthy and best possible environment, so that they can study, practice and play, creating opportunities for comprehensive development for them.
President Luong Cuong believes that the 500 outstanding children present here will be "ers" who inspire positively, arouse aspirations, dreams and thoughts to contribute to the children's generation of the country; at the same time, calling on them to spread good things, encourage good things, encourage friends to study, practice and compete to follow the 5 things taught by Uncle Ho, always carry the spirit of actively learning, overcoming all difficulties to towards a bright future for themselves and more widely contributing to building a bright future for the beloved country of Vietnam.
With the theme "Vietnamese Children Steadfastly Entering the New Era", the 10th National Uncle Ho Good Children's Congress has the participation of 500 delegates who are team members and children with outstanding achievements representing nearly 16 million team members, teenagers and children across the country.
On this occasion, 500 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children nationwide were honored to receive a photo symbol and scholarship from President Luong Cuong. The Central Youth Union and the Central Youth Union Council awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit to Uncle Ho's Good Children, gifts and each delegate was awarded a scholarship worth 4 million VND.
