Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka expressed his respect and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh when visiting the President Relic Site.

Within the framework of the state visit to Vietnam by the President of the Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on the morning of May 5, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka visited the President Ho Chi Minh relic site in the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka visited relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh's life and career such as stilt houses, fish ponds, admired the bronze statue of "Uncle Ho sitting in the President's Flower Garden" and artifacts that preserve many memories of him.

Sharing with President Sri Lanka about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, President Luong Cuong affirmed that he is the most beautiful symbol of patriotism and revolutionary heroism of Vietnam, a radiant crystallization of morality, intelligence, mettle, conscience of the nation and the era; At the same time, he dedicated his whole life to the glorious revolutionary career of the Party and the people of Vietnam.

The leader of Sri Lanka also heard about the history of Uncle Ho's stilt house, built in the style of stilt houses of ethnic minorities in Viet Bac, a place that was associated with President Ho Chi Minh during the 9-year resistance war against French colonialism.

Uncle Ho moved to live and work in this house from 1958 to 1969 and here, he spent the day and night thinking to work with the Politburo to complete the strategic and strategic guidelines for the Vietnamese revolution, continue to lead the people to overcome difficulties and challenges; and is also a place where he regularly welcomes international delegations.

The visit to the President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka Presidential Palace relic site once again affirmed that Ho Chi Minh cultural values will continue to be a bridge for the close relationship between Vietnam and Sri Lanka to develop strongly in many fields.
