On the morning of July 19, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).


National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation offered flowers and incense at the Monument to Hero of the People's Armed Forces, martyr Vo Thi Sau. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully observed a minute of silence, expressing deep gratitude to the outstanding son of Dat Do homeland who bravely sacrificed himself for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Following that, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation came to offer incense at the Memorial House of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, martyr Vo Thi Sau, and at the same time offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Long Dien - Dat Do Martyrs' Cemetery.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and members of the working delegation respectfully lit incense sticks, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Long Dien - Dat Do Martyrs' Cemetery is currently the resting place of nearly 3,000 Heroic Martyrs, including martyrs from Long Dien and Dat Do districts (formerly) and many martyrs from localities across the country.

After the incense offering ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation continued to visit and give gifts to wounded and sick soldiers being cared for at Long Dat Center for Nursing People with Meritorious Services; at the same time, visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.
