On the morning of September 21, at the headquarters of the Central Party Agencies, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man - Head of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 220 of the Politburo chaired the Conference to approve the draft Report on the results of inspection and supervision (phase 3) for the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies.
Attending the conference were Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies Tran Cam Tu and members of the Party Central Committee, members of the Inspection and Supervision Delegation, and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies.
The conference listened to Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Delegate Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, Deputy Head of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 220 presenting the draft Report on inspection and supervision results.
This inspection and supervision focuses on personnel work, leadership work, specific direction on: decentralization of management, title standards and evaluation criteria; planning, mobilization, rotation, appointment, evaluation of personnel; training, fostering; internal political protection; regimes, policies; inspection, supervision, control of power and digital transformation in personnel work.
Concluding the Conference, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man acknowledged that cadre work was basically carried out in accordance with principles, authority, and procedures; the concretization of new regulations, decentralization of management, planning, transfer, rotation, appointment and management of cadres gradually went into order, associated with organizational structure arrangement.
Along with that, the Party Committee has inspected and supervised specialized topics on personnel work, power control and corruption and negativity prevention and control for 29 party organizations and 21 party members; the work of verifying assets, income, and concluding political standards has been gradually strengthened.
Internal political protection, training, fostering, and implementation of basic regimes and policies have been deployed synchronously; digital transformation in Party work and cadre work has had many new ways such as: digitizing records, party member databases, electronic party member handbooks, operational operating systems, evaluation software and some artificial intelligence applications.
In addition to the achieved results, the inspection and supervision delegation also requested the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to continue to pay attention to overcoming some issues.
From the inspection results and requirements in the new period, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man proposed that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Party committees directly under the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies strongly promote the role of political nucleus connecting, coordinating, and promoting the quality of strategic advice of the Party Committee; increase inter-sectoral coordination, data sharing, and cross-reflection on major issues.
At the same time, strongly innovate personnel work; build a team with political bravery, strategic thinking, forecasting capacity, practical summarization, theoretical research, appraisal, policy criticism and digital capacity. Bring the implementation of the resolution into depth: after thoroughly grasping, it must be converted into a list of tasks with clear tasks, clear lead agencies, clear responsible people, clear products, clear progress milestones and clear evaluation criteria.
The National Assembly Chairwoman emphasized the requirement to control power, protect dynamic and creative cadres who dare to think and dare to do; shift from inspection when incidents occur to regular supervision, early warning, remote prevention and increased accountability. Gradually form common data on organizations, cadres, and task performance results; connect data for evaluation, planning, training, arrangement, and use of cadres; apply technology and artificial intelligence in parallel with ensuring absolute safety and information secrecy.
