Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man acknowledged the active contributions of press agencies, reporters, editors, filmmakers... to the innovation activities of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

In the coming time, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that the press should further disseminate the Party's major policies; 4 pillar Resolutions (Resolution No. 57, Resolution No. 59, Resolution No. 66 and Resolution No. 68) and the Resolutions of the National Assembly institutionalizing these Resolutions; on preventing corruption, waste and negativity.
In particular, propaganda on implementing the model of two-level local government, on merging provinces according to the Central Government's policy and the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution is expected to be approved on June 16.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the press continue to closely monitor and fully and promptly report information about the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels to voters, people nationwide and international friends.

The National Assembly Chairman said that recently, the corporate income tax rate for the press has been agreed to be reduced to 10%, demonstrating the understanding, sharing and high sense of responsibility of the delegates and the National Assembly towards the press.
