On the afternoon of June 26, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, term IV, 2021 - 2026, held the 16th Special Session.
Here, Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, said that in just a few days, Dak Nong, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces will be merged into the new Lam Dong province.
According to Mr. Muoi, this is an opportunity for the new Lam Dong province in general and the current Dak Nong province in particular.
In nearly a term, Dak Nong has overcome many difficulties and challenges and achieved proud achievements in all fields. Average income per capita is nearly 82 million VND/person/year.
Many key projects have been started. Including the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway project. In particular, the province has devoted much effort to removing obstacles related to bauxite projects.
In the new context, Mr. Muoi said that each person must clearly recognize their role, position and responsibility. We are not allowed to think that we are just one of three in one. It was like being shoulder-width apart. If you can't do it, you have to be willing to stand aside so that others have more capacity and responsibility to take on the job," Mr. Ho Van Muoi frankly said.
Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi affirmed that the provincial leaders will always accompany the staff in the process of innovation, adaptation and dedication.
However, each cadre, civil servant and public employee needs to change their thinking, working methods and actions to better serve the organization and the people.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council unanimously passed 3 important resolutions. In which, approving the settlement of State budget revenue in the area; settlement of local budget revenue and expenditure in 2024; Approving the List of additional projects requiring land acquisition and conversion of land use purposes for national and public interests in 2025; Adjusting and supplementing the 2025 budget for agencies and units.
