Ho Chi Minh City wants to have orientation and legal framework for apparatus arrangement
At the conference, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee stated that the city proposed 3 contents to the Government and the Prime Minister.
First, support the city to resolve the backlog. The city hopes to continue to receive attention from the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Steering Committee to help free up resources for the economy, and if resolved well, tens of thousands of billions of VND will certainly enter the economy by 2025.
Second, regarding the organizational arrangement, the city really wants to have an orientation and legal framework for the state administrative agency system to manage key, basic issues. As for matters that can be transferred to the economy and society, we need a legal framework to promote the strength of the economy and society.
Third, we recommend that the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Chairmen of two very important economic regional councils, the Red River Delta and the Southeast Region, should study and propose policy mechanisms to promote regional connectivity and exploit the resources of the two regions.
"If we do well, these two regions will contribute over 50% of the country's GDP, helping the country firmly enter a new era," said the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
