On the afternoon of October 20, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a thematic conference to announce the Decision of the Central Party Secretariat on early retirement of cadres and introduce personnel for the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 2445, dated October 3, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat on Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, retiring early according to personal wishes.
The decision takes effect from October 1, 2025.
On the same day, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee presented a report on introducing personnel for the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
After studying and discussing, the delegates voted and unanimously introduced Mr. Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, to be elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
