The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Government and agencies must immediately prepare the contents and documents to submit to the 10th Session to ensure the best quality.

On the morning of July 10, in Hanoi, the 47th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee opened under the chairmanship of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

Speaking at the opening of the session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that at this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the monitoring topic.

According to the National Assembly Chairman, this is a very practical topic and has strategic significance in the context of the country entering a new stage where it needs high-quality human resources as a foundation for rapid and sustainable growth. The Politburo also gave opinions on the resolution focusing on developing education and training as well as the resolution related to health care for the people.

"We will have 6 resolutions and have just implemented 4 important resolutions of the Politburo. The National Assembly has passed 3 resolutions on science, innovation, digital transformation; resolution on law making and enforcement; resolution on private economic development. These are very important resolutions" - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said.

The National Assembly Chairman requested agencies, organizations, and members of the National Assembly Standing Committee to carefully study the documents, promote the results of the previous session, and successfully complete the session. This is an early, far-reaching preparation step to ensure the quality of the final session of the term and an important event of the National Assembly in the coming time.

In addition, the National Assembly Chairman also suggested that the Government and agencies must prepare right now with the contents and documents to be submitted to the 10th Session to ensure the best quality.

At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave initial comments on the draft Report on the results of the thematic supervision "Implementation of policies and laws on development and use of human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, especially high-quality human resources".

Consider and decide to adjust the 2025 Legislative Program. Give opinions on the report on the National Assembly's petition work for April, May and June 2025. Consider and approve the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will also give its opinion on the summary of the 9th Session and give initial comments on the preparation for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee issued with Resolution No. 29/2022/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on spending on organizing and operating social insurance and unemployment insurance for the period 2025 - 2027. Consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on principles, criteria and norms for allocating the regular expenditure estimate for the state budget in 2026.
