On the afternoon of July 2, General Secretary To Lam and National Assembly deputies of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation ( Election Unit No. 1) met with voters of 11 wards of Hanoi Election Unit No. 1 (including: Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Dong Da, Kim Lien, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Lang, O Cho Dua, Hai Ba Trung, Vinh Tuy and Bach Mai) to report the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Attending the meeting with voters were Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung; Assistant General Secretary, Head of the Office of General Secretary To An Xo; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation; Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi Nguyen Lan Huong.

At the 9th Session, the 15th National Assembly passed 34 laws, accounting for 52.3% of the total number of laws issued at 17 sessions of the 15th term. At the same time, 14 legal resolutions were passed and 6 draft laws were commented on. Most of the laws and resolutions passed have achieved very high consensus among National Assembly deputies.
In particular, the National Assembly discussed and passed a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with an absolute consensus ratio of National Assembly deputies, along with many synchronous laws and resolutions, creating a legal basis for the innovation and arrangement of the local government apparatus at both levels.

Also during the session, the National Assembly discussed the Government's reports on the results of implementing the socio-economic development plan, national defense, security and state budget in 2024 and the first months of 2025 and decided on many other important issues to maximize resources, serve national and ethnic development.
The National Assembly has decided to shorten the term of the 15th National Assembly and the term of People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; passed the Resolution on the establishment of the National Election Council, elected the Chairman, approved the Vice Chairman and Council members. These are important decisions, demonstrating proactiveness and careful preparation for the election in March 2026.
In addition, the National Assembly has approved the National Assembly's Supervisory Program in 2026; conducted questioning on 2 groups of issues in the fields of finance and education and training.
