Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, between 12:00 on November 22 and 12:00 on November 23, 2025, data extracted from AI cameras being piloted at the intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets (Hanoi) shows that the situation of violations in the inner city area is still worrying.
Accordingly, the system has automatically identified 12 cases of motorbike and motorbike drivers without helmets; 45 cases of non-compliance with traffic signals (running red lights). No cases of going in the wrong direction were recorded at this location.
On Le Van Luong Street, the AI camera continued to maintain monitoring and showed that during the same period, there were no cases of going in the wrong lane.
All data on the violations has been transferred to the Hanoi City Police and related functional units to carry out handling steps according to regulations.

At the same time, the AI camera system on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway continues to be effective in monitoring and detecting traffic violations.
Accordingly, from 12:00 on November 22 to 12:00 on November 23, 2025, at km20 of the expressway, the camera recorded 15,910 vehicles traveling at an average speed of 77.5km/h.
Through the automatic analysis system, the authorities detected 8 cases of drivers not wearing seat belts; no cases of using phones while driving were recorded.
All of these violations have been notified to the vehicle owner for handling according to regulations.




According to the Traffic Police Department, the application of AI cameras is considered an important step forward in building a safe and transparent traffic environment, contributing to raising awareness of traffic participants and minimizing dangerous violations.
